www.parentsplace.com: A bulletin board for parents. Provides information on a number of topics related to school. By clicking on kindergarten, parents are able to read and post questions related to kindergarten entrance. Questions will be answered by experts in the field of child development.

http://www.kidsource.com/better.world.press/kindergarten.html This site provides articles and information on readiness. Has useful questions for parents to ask when selecting a kindergarten program.

www.parentingresources.ncjrs.org: a government website  providing online links to topics such as child care, education, health and safety.

www.familyeducation.com: This site is sponsored by the National PTA. It has extensive information on children and education as well as information on readiness. Provides a useful checklist for determine your child's kindergarten readiness.

www.naeyc.org: The National Association of the Education of the Young Child sponsors this  site which also has information on readiness.

This article discussed issues of importance in regard to kindergarten entrance. Provides insight into many of the concerns parents may have about enrollment.
